Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No bleach sanitizer was prepared at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure sanitizing solution is prepared and ready for use when kitchen is in operation. Food contact surfaces need to be sanitized prior to food preparation. Bleach at 200ppm was prepared at the time of inspection.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash station did not have any single use paper towels.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must have hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Single use paper towels were replaced at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Refrigerator/freezer units were at 4C/-18C.
-Refrigerator units had accurate thermometers and temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-High temperature dishwasher had a final rinse temperature of 71C on the dish surface (on P3) - minimum temperature of 71C. Area in front of dishwasher has a puddle of water when utensils are taken out of the machine. Ensure this area is kept dry or mopped on a regular basis to prevent drain flies in the area.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the floor and covered.
-Canned foods were in good condition.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-A couple drain flies observed by the dishwasher area - no other signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Bag of flour under sink will need to be placed in a plastic container with a tight fitting lid or removed to prevent potential contamination from dripping water.
-FoodSafe Level 1 valid until April 5, 2019.
