Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observation:
1) Asked staff how dishes are washed using the 3 comp sink. Staff said they do not sanitize after washing and rinsing.
2) Asked staff how often the espresso machine steam hose are sanitized. Staff said they are cleaned once a day, but never sanitized.
Corrective Action(s): Correction:
1) Educated staff on proper ware washing techniques. Sign provided to post above sink.
2) Educated staff on the espresso machine should be sanitized after each customer.
