Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act(CCALA) and the Child Care Licensing Regulations(CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of practice (DOLSOP). All areas were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

During today’s inspection 5 children, and the licensee were present. Staff/ child ratios were met at today’s inspection.
At this inspection no contraventions were identified, therefore not further action by the licensee in response to this inspection.
As part of the routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool was completed, and a copy was provided to the facility along with the report. Copies of the inspection report and the Facility Risk Assessment Tool were reviewed, discussed, and provided to the Licensee.

During the inspection licensing was having technical difficulties with writing the inspection report on site. Licensing reviewed the contents of the report with the licensee on site, wrote the report off site and provided the licensee with an unsigned copy of the report through the email provided by the licensee.
