Routine inspection with the presence of supervisor. This location is to make samosa and then deliver products to its samosa store (10 minutes away) to sell. The deliver truck (with temperature control) was not on sight today for inspection. The products are samosa with 8 types of fillings: potato, chicken, vegi, cheese etc.
- General sanitation was satisfactory.
- Hand sink and staff washroom were fully equipped with hand soap, paper towel and hot/cold running water.
- Walk in cooler 2.9C.
- Walk in freezer temperature -19.1C
- No grease built up on exhaust hood, next service date Nov-2022
- Sanitizer for surface, 100ppm bleach; for dishes 200ppm Quats- excellent!
- Food wrapping area well organized and in a sanitary condition.
- No rodent activity observed during inspection.
- Each shift has at least one staff with food safety training certificate.
Note: (1) Replace the pull-down faucet shower head on the 3-compartment sink.
(2) Install wall-mounted cleaning and sanitizing dispenser for convenient use of cleaner and sanitizer.
(3) Avoid opening doors in summer time to prevent flies.
(4) In samosa wrapping area, replace the plastic containers with stainless steel ones, easy to clean.
