- Alleged agression between persons in care.
Report of Findings
On November 4, 2022, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns with care and supervision.

The complainant provided the following details:
- A person in care was involved in a reportable incident and the representative was not immediately notified of the injury.

All areas of the complaint were thoroughly investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from documentation and inspections.

The following contravention was determined:

Residential Care Regulation - Section 76(1) - Notification of illness or injury.

39060 - RCR s.76(1)If a person in care becomes ill or is injured while under the care or supervision of a licensee, the licensee must immediately notify the parent or representative, or contact person, of the person in care.
Observation: Staff did not notify the family contact immediately after the person in care sustained an injury as a result of an aggressive incident with another person in care.
