Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-AZAU4S

- Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer measured 200 ppm. Reminder to store all wiping cloths in sanitizer when not in use.
- Cheese is being stored in grill cooler drawers at 4 degrees C or less
- Tongs are stored safely outside of fry/onion ring cooler (handles are not in contact with food product)
- FOODSAFE requirements verified at time of inspection. Note: As of July 29, 2013, all FoodSafe Level 1 certificates issued in BC have a five year expiry date. FoodSafe Level 1 certificates issued prior to July 29, 2013 are valid until July 29, 2018. Please keep copies of staff FOODSAFE Level 1 certificates (or equivalent) on site for review by the Environmental Health Officer.
Potential cross contamination from raw chicken to sauces in the small prep cooler was discussed at the time of inspection. Raw chicken, batter, and breading inserts are to be covered with individual lids. A separate lid is to be used to cover sauces.
