Observation: Ice machine excessively dirty inside and out. Observed food debris from handling door with dirty hands and without regular cleaning. Observed on the inside of the door and ice basin inside. Looks like biomat is starting to form in areas inside the unit. This is not a sanitary environment for food (ice) to be stored.
Corrective Action(s): Turn off this unit and defrost. Thoroughly clean AND sanitize the inside and outside of this unit. Use alternate ice supply until unit cleaned. This will be audited on follow up inspection date noted on report.

Observation: Walk in cooler floor and door handles excessively dirty.
Corrective Action(s): Improve quality and/or frequency of cleaning this unit. Door handle and hand contact points for all cooling units should be cleaned and sanitized regularly throughout the day. Shelves should be moved and the wall floor connections should be cleaned as per cleaning schedule and procedures. This will be reviewed at follow up inspection date noted on report.
