Routine

Facility is for dry storage of herbs and other herbal products imported from overseas. Products are then distributed to stores within Canada.
Reminder that no repackaging may take place as there is no handsink.

> Walk-in cooler: 5C; used for quality control of dry products particularly during summer months. No storage of potentially hazardous products.
> All products are stored above the floor on shelves and/or wooden pallets.
> General sanitation is satisfactory.
> Pest control services are provided monthly by A Plus Pest Control. Last report dated October 22, 2021 was reviewed - activity was also noted.

Recommendation:
> Request pest control to provide a map of where snap traps and trap boxes are placed.
> In the back area that is less frequently accessed by staff, adopt a more frequent product rotation schedule to ensure old products are not left untouched for extended amount of time which can attract harboring of pests.

Signature not obtained due to COVID protocols. Report reviewed with operator on site.
