Observation: High temperature dishwasher in Dogwood East not working during inspection (display screen stated it was in the rinse cycle however it was not running) and could not be reset/repaired by staff on site during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Adjust/repair dishwasher and have all dishes washed in the main kitchen area until this is rectified. Due: Sept 30, 2022

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Two mice observed on glue board trap between fridge and cabinet in Elm South. Mouse droppings also observed in kitchen of Fir Hall in corner between white domestic fridge and dishwasher.
Corrective Action(s): Remove and replace glue board with mice in ES and clean droppings in FH. Inform pest control company and continue to monitor/take action as recommended by pest control company.

Note: Cleaning behind fridge in A1 is recommended (a few items appear to have slipped beside unit).

Note: Elm north there was a bait box observed in the kitchen. Manager stated that, when asked about the bait box, the pest control company assured them that there is no bait inside, only a glue board. **Confirm this with the pest control company and email undersigned EHO with the information learned.

Other observations:
√ Coolers ≤4°C, Freezers ≤ -18°C, Hot holding ≥60°C
√ Food up off floor ≥6”, ready to eat foods stored above raw foods, good stock rotation noted
√ Hand wash stations fully stocked with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
√ Quats sanitizer available at 200ppm in spray bottles and is changed every two days
√ High temperature dishwashers all (except for one noted above) sanitizing at ≥71°C
√ Equipment appeared to be in good working order
√ General sanitation and maintenance is good
√ Thermometers present
√ Temperature logs maintained and no issues with equipment have been noted
√ Staff with FoodSafe (or equivalent) present.
√ No concerns with staff hygiene or food handling noted during inspection
