Observation: Unlabeled foods in both the walk-in cooler and freezers.
Corrective Action(s): All foods must be labeled as to when prepared/portioned, what the food is, and must also have nutrition and ingredient information kept on site.

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: Foods in the walk-in cooler do not have proper, non-absorbent, tight fitting lids in place, so foods did not have any covering at all.
Corrective Action(s): All foods must be stored with proper lids in place to prevent both physical and microbial contamination of food.
NOTE:
Make sure that all containers are food grade, do not use garbage bags or any other recycled plastic as this material may be contaminated with heavy metals that could contaminate food.

Observation: .
- Food debris behind and under equipment, food splatters/grease/dirt on walls,
- mould/slime in ice machine below condenser and behind face plate (top interior of cabinet) also on the door face and cabinet of the below counter beer cooler.,
- rangehood canopy and filters need cleaning - ducting to be done in January
Corrective Action(s): Premises needs a thorough cleaning to remove food waste, grease, mould, dirt off walls and rangehood, cabinets and shelving, behind and under and inside equipment etc
