Observation: Styrofoam cup was used as a measuring cup for chilli powder. Scoop was also stored inside the chilli powder.
Corrective Action(s): Do not use styrofoam cups as a measuring cup. Styrofoam may break contaminate food items. Scoops should also be stored in a sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of foods.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Display coolers were at 4C.
-Chest freezers ranged from -18C to -26C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer pail and spray bottle labelled and tested at 100ppm to 200ppm.
-Meat saw and cutting table sanitized after each use. Thorough cleaning carried out at the end of the night.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
