Comments

-General sanitation of kitchen and storage area was satisfactory.
-Liquid soap and paper towel present for handwashing.
-Coolers were 4C of colder.
-Freezer temperatures were adequate.
-Temperature of coolers monitored daily.
-High temperature dishwasher met sanitizing temperature requirement. Rinse temperature was 80.4C at the dish surface as measured with min/max thermometer.
-Bleach sanitizer present in spray bottle. Initially, concentration was too high (>>200ppm). Solution was diluted to 100ppm at the time of the inspection. Reveiwed mixing instructions with staff member on duty. Only 1 tsp bleach needed in spray bottle.
-Traps set for mice due to previous activity. Dry goods stored in pest proof containers. Pest Control Contract in place (contracted through City of Burnaby) with service twice per month. Continue to keep floor area clear, monitor areas where activity has been previously noted, and immediately clean up droppings and sanitize area if any droppings noted.
