Observation: Limited number of mice dropping noted in back room around dry storage. Also, one section has not been cleaned and organized. However, so much improvement have noted from previous inspections.
Corrective Action(s):
- Continue cleaning and sanitizing the area in order to effectively remove urine traces and droppings.
- Take action immediately when new activities observed. Immediately remove droppings from floors and sanitize.
- Sanitize the area with bleach-water sanitizer as discussed. Ensure to use proper PPE to do it.
- Rise shelf hight to at least 6 inches. Ideally as high as 8 inches so it is inaccesible by mice. Try not creat any bridges for them to climb up to shelve.
- Cover food in these shelve. No open food boxes.
- Ensure no syrup leak from beverage dispensers.

A follow up inspection conducted regarding pest control.

Following items noted and discussed with operator at this time.
- Wire shelve at back room has been emptied, cleaned and reorganized properly.
- Sticky traps and live traps with their respective markers on the wall noted. Operator stated sticky traps works best for them.
- Potential entry points for mice has been sealed up and properly covered. However, more attention needed to block hiding and harboring spots.
- Staff has been updated on issue and appears to be trained to manage pest activity.
- Cabinets under coffee and donut counter has been cleaned. No droppings noted at this date.
- Operator stated they have increased cleaning frequency. Please pay more attention to underneath and behind equipment and cabinets in front desk and by soft drinks machines.
