General observations:
- Facility SQF level 2 certified
√ Food up off floor ≥6” or on pallets, good stock rotation noted, all product labelled with product name, lot code and dates
√ Hand wash stations fully stocked with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
√ Peroxide based sanitizer used for food contact surfaces as well as floors/drains/etc
√ Alcosan used on clean in place food equipment
√ High temperature dishwasher sanitizing at ≥71°C and checked daily
√ Dry quat sanitizer used for shoes at entry points into production areas
√ Two and three compartment sinks stocked with surfactant, sanitizer, hot/cold running water and drain plugs
√ Equipment appeared to be in good working order
√ General sanitation and maintenance is very good, details plans in place for regular cleaning of all areas of premise.
√ Detailed records kept for all subjects pertaining to food safety and quality assurance
√ Thermometers and monitoring equipment in place
√ Temperature/sanitation/logs maintained and no issues with equipment have been noted
√ Contract maintained with pest control company. Some mouse and cockroach activity noted on reports and plan to continue to address any issues noted.
- Some mouse activity noted in warehouse isles B-G on pallets. Recommend a deep clean of these isles and checking pallets for any pests that my have been brought in on wrapped pallets.
- One cockroach found in the mechanical room next to the weigh up rooms. Have a trap/bait station set up in here for monitoring and consult pest control company for possible harborage places within in this room.
- Small leak in the grey water plumbing under the two compartment sink in the upper level washing area - repair to reduce water accumulation in the area.
√ Pest activity has significantly decreased from previous routine and significant improvements have been made in sealing up cracks, crevices to prevent harborage or pests. Continue to work with pest control company to identify any other areas of concern
√ No concerns with staff hygiene or food handling noted during inspection. All staff wearing hair nets and clean lab coats. |
