Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - Plug for sink was broken and did not allow for sink to be filled to allow for dishes to properly submerged in sanitizer for appropriate contact time. No extra plugs present on-site.
Corrective Action(s): - District Mgr arrived at time of inspection with plugs which fit sink drains. Sinks were filled accordingly to allow for proper manual warewashing (wash, rinse, sanitize) procedures.

Comments

- Premises and equipment maintained in sanitary condition. Back storage area organized with items stored on shelving off of the floor.
- Handsink supplied with hot and cold water, liquid soap and paper towel
- Coolers operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder):
- Walk-in cooler 4C
- Sandwich line coolers 4C (veggie side) 2C (meat/protein side)
- 2 door cooler 1C
- Beverage cooler 1C
- Walk-in freezer -14C
- Hot potentially hazardous foods held at 60C or higher

- Meatballs 63C
- Temperatures monitored and recorded twice daily per food safety procedures. Records present.
- Quats sanitizer present from dispenser at 3 compartment sink, in spray bottle, and bucket with wiping cloth. Concentration of solutions measured 200ppm.
- No signs of pest activity noted at time of the inspection.
- Manager present and has completed Foodsafe level 1. Certificate valid until Aug 2023. Ensure in Manager's absence, there is at least one staff member present who has a valid Foodsafe level 1 certificate (or equivalent).
- Staff/public washrooms supplied with liquid soap and air dryer for handwashing.

Covid Safety Protocols/Compliance with PHO order:
- Self serve drink station present/available for customer use
- Alcohol based hand sanitizer present within easy reach of station
- High touch surfaces at station are cleaned/disinfectant hourly. Peroxide based multi-surface cleaner/disinfectant used. Records present.
- Signage is required to reminds patrons/customers to wash or sanitize their hands before touching self serve items. Sign was located and posted at time of inspection
