Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Quats sanitizer solution in spray bottles measured above 500 ppm +, likely higher. Pump concentrate at main sink. Pump is used to fill sink for dishwashing and sometimes directly to spray bottles. Alternative method is to fill spray bottles from pre-made solution in sink. No specific instructions for ratios noted at sinks. Drivers also typically fill spray bottles. Tested volume of concentrate to volume of water in sink, and water in spray bottle to achieve 200 to 400 ppm solution.
Sink - One and one half (1 1/2) length of tube will provide 200 to 400 ppm with sink at capacity.
Spray bottle - tube measured and line marked with sharpe marker for volume of concentrate to add to fill line of spray bottle to achieve 200 to 400 ppm solution. **Note: line will erase over time. Recommend taping around marked line as more permanent.
Corrective Action(s): Discuss with staff, including drivers, to follow Quats dosing more closely and follow above recommendations.
