Observation: Staff records were reviewed and two staff did not have a verification for their certificate on file. STAFFING: 12370 - CCLR s.37(3)(b) - Despite the employee qualifications required by Column 4 of the table in section 1 of Schedule E [group sizes and employee to children ratios], a licensee must replace an absent employee described in Column 1 of the following table who is absent (b) for 30 consecutive days or more with a person described in Column 3 opposite that employee and the row in Column 2 labelled as "≥ 30 days".
Observation: The Manager was not present at the facility during today's inspection. The Manager was not present at the inspection on April 5, 2022 and May 13, 2022. In previous discussions with the Director and the staff the Manager has been away for a period greater than 30 days.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure the Manager is replaced after they are absent for a period greater than 30 days to comply with the legislation.
