Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - Mildew and mold like substance noted on surfaces inside bar ice machine.
Corrective Action(s): - Empty ice machine, discard ice. Clean and sanitize the interior of the ice machine. [Correction Date: Immediately]

Note: Unit was emptied, cleaned and sanitized at time of inspection.

Observation: - Hot water not available at handsink in staff kitchen washroom.
Corrective Action(s): - Provide hot water at handsink in staff kitchen washroom. [Correction Date: Immediately]

Note: Facility is aware of problem and has scheduled for unit to be repaired. In the meantime, advise caterers and volunteer staff to either use other washrooms in the building or to ensure that hands are properly washed at kitchen handsink after using the washroom in the staff kitchen.

- Volunteer Fridge/ Freezer: Fridge: 3 deg C/ Freezer: -16 deg C
- Double Door True Refrigerator: 4 deg C
- Single Door Delfield Cooler: 1 deg C
- Coke Cooler: 4 deg C
- Single Door Delfield Cooler "#1" was turned off at time of inspection. No concerns as unit is not being used. Ensure that unit is capable of maintaining temperature at or below 4 deg C before using.
- 200 ppm chlorine bleach sanitizer solution available in spray bottles at kitchen work stations.
- High Temperature Sanitizing Dishwasher: 74.1 at dish surface; Final Rinse Temperature Gauge read >82 deg C
- Bar Glasswasher: 50 ppm chlorine residual. Chlorine test strips available to verify sanitizer concentration.
- General sanitation of premises appears satisfactory.
- Monthly pest control services provided by Orkin. Follow all recommendations provided by your pest control company.
