Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cooked pasta noodles were covered with a purple material. Staff were unsure of the identity of the purple material.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all foods are stored in a sanitary manner and are used on a first-in, first-out basis. Noodles were discarded at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Pizza prep cooler was at 1C (top) and 2C (bottom).
-Upright freezer was at -16C.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Bleach prepared and tested at 200ppm.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Staff observed practicing good handwashing practices at the time of inspection.
-Bleach sanitizer pails and spray bottle labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Equipment was found to be clean and sanitary. Deli slicer disassembled for cleaning and sanitizing.
-Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Staff FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until November 13, 2024.
*Operator is considering offering tiffin services using single use containers. Prior to offering tiffin services, provide an updated food safety plan. Also, contact the Health Department and local agencies prior to installing equipment or modifying the kitchen.
