Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Both loading doors observed open. No delivery/loading was occurring at that time. I asked staff member to immediately close both doors.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure loading doors are closed when delivery/loading is not occurring to avoid the entry of pests.

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: Two sanitizer bottles near 3-compartment sink noted at 50ppm chlorine.
Correction: Operator to ensure fresh sanitizer solutions are prepared daily or when premises is operational. A dilute chlorine solution can be made using 1/2 teaspoon of 5.25% unscented bleach to 1 liter of water. Solution can be applied to a cleaned surface and allowed to air dry.

Routine inspection conducted.

3-compartment sink available for manual warewashing. Operator to ensure Fraser Health infograph is followed to encourage proper warewashing procedures - wash, rinse, sanitize, air dry.
Whole bags of wheat grains and multigrains are milled in large milling units and packaged for sale.
Spices are milled using a separate milling unit.
Sieving unit noted in sanitary condition. Exhaust fans are in use when milling units are operational.
Handwashing sinks equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels.
Retail area noted in sanitary condition. Scoops for bulk bins stored in a manner that protects food from contamination.
Spray bottles containing bleach solution achieve 100ppm Chlorine and are labelled.
