Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Several foods (ie. blue cheese, guacamole) were past expiry dates. Staff discarded at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to go through all foods in the store to monitor expiry dates. Discard all foods that are past expiry date.

Comments

Complaint was received in regards to temperature abused fresh chicken sold.
Staff on site noted that the cooler where fresh meats are stored was not in working order on April 9th afternoon so all meats were discarded. The cooler was repaired on April 10th in the morning.
At the time of inspection, all coolers measured <4C. Freezers measured <-18C.
Coolers are equipped with thermometers.
The handsink in the back preparation area is equipped with hot & cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
Foods are stored off of floor.
No signs of pest activity noted at the time of inspection.
General sanitation is satisfactory.

Be more consistent with monitoring of refrigeration unit temperature & expiry dates of foods.
