- General sanitation satisfactory
- Handsink in food service area and handsinks in staff and public washrooms supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- All coolers (in use) operating at 4C or colder:
- Walk-in cooler 4C
- Sandwich line cooler 3C
- Sliding door beverage cooler 4C
*Pepsi glass door cooler not turned on/not in use.
- Upright freezer -17C
- Whirlpool chest freezer -15C
*Woods chest freezer not turned on/not in use
- Pasta and cooked vegetable salad stored on ice for lunch service (11:30-1:30pm). Bowls were sufficiently surrounded by ice so that ice level was at the same level as the food. Food is discarded after lunch service.
- Soup was held at an adequate temperature (60C or higher)
- Chicken noodle soup 64C
- Cream based soup 67C
- Food was stored in a manner to prevent contamination (ie. covered/wrapped)
- High temperature dishwasher functional and met sanitizing temperature. Final rinse at dish surface measured 71.7C
- Bleach sanitizer solution in bucket and in spray bottle measured 200ppm chlorine. Wiping cloths stored in sanitizer solution.
- Reviewed cleaning and sanitizing frequency of meat slicer. Slicer is cleaned/sanitized after use. Note: If is use throughout the day, slicer is to be cleaned and sanitized at least every 4 hours.
- No current signs of pest activity noted at time of the inspection.
- Operator holds valid Foodsafe level 1 certificate. Certificate valid until 18-Aug-2023.
*A couple of vinyl floor tiles were noted to be peeling near 2 compartment sink in front service area. Operator reported she has replacement tiles and will be replacing the one that are damaged.
