Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No bleach sanitizer prepared in spray bottles or the 3-compartment sink at the time of inspection. No sanitizer was prepared since the facility opened today.
Corrective Action(s): Facility must always have bleach sanitizer prepared when facility is in operation to allow for sanitizing of equipment, utensils, and food contact surfaces. Bleach at 100ppm was prepared at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash station paper towel dispenser did not have any single use paper towels. Paper towels were placed at the other end of the shop.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash station must be eaily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Paper towels were relocated to the handwash station at the time of inspection. Paper towel dispenser must be refilled.

Observation: Frosting and other food debris found on door handles, walls, and floors.
Corrective Action(s): Facility must be maintained on a clean and sanitary condition at all times. Facility needs to be cleaned throughout the day.

Observation: 1) Glass door upright cooler was at 6C (large amounts of ice on the condenser) and cooler door does not close properly. Right door was slightly open at the time of inspection.
2) 3-compartment sink is leaking water.
3) Handwash station door is broken.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Cooler must be adjusted or serviced to ensure it can maintain 4C at all times. Cooler door must be able to close properly to prevent loss of cold refrigeration air.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Used parchment paper was found stored on top of the chest freezer, adjacent to the garbage can.
Corrective Action(s): Single use items must be discarded after each use. Items such as parchment paper are intended for single use. Parchment paper was discarded at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Both front display coolers were at 4C.
-Upright metal cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezer was at -33C.
-No hot holding at the time of inspection. Samosas were being reheated in the oven at the time of inspection. Samosa must reach an internal temperature of 71C. Staff member stated time tracking is carried out on a piece of paper.
-Foods stored off the floor and covered.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
*Half the food items for sale in the facility do not have labels to identify the contents, potential allergens, and contact information. Staff member stated the label maker has been sent for service and will be returned this evening.
-Staff member stated she took FoodSafe Level 1 on May 1 2018. Unable to locate staff member in the FoodSafe database. Staff member has email confirmation she attended the course.
