302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation: Several knives stored in the "Clean tray" observed with food debris still affixed. These were removed to be rewashed and sanitized at time of inspection. Wiping cloth observed stored on counter. This was relocated to the sanitizer solution at time of inspection. Handles to sandwich cooler and below counter cooler in deli observed with food product build up Corrective Action(s): Ensure staff have been trained on how to properly warewash. Ensure staff are aware to store wiping cloths in the sanitizer container fully submerged when cloths are not in use. Solution is to be changed every 2 hours or earlier if impacted with high organic load. Use a scrub cloth with grit to clean handles to equipment daily. Violation Score: 15

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: Droppings observed within the premises. Premises currently has a pest control contract. Pest control operator was on site at the time of inspection. Traps are in place throughout the premises. Corrective Action(s): Bin and lid all food items stored on lower shelving that can potentially be chewed into at night until the pest problem has been eliminated. This would include but not limited to: bread products, popcorn, dog treats Clean and sanitize under all hard to reach areas where spilled food has accumulated. This would include the floor below the oven in the deli department. Violation Score: 9 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)] Observation: Several gaps in the weather stripping observed at the base of the back delivery door large enough to allow the entry of rodents. Gap observed at the front entry door large enough to allow the entry of rodents. Corrective Action(s): Immediately seal these openings as premises currently has a rodent infestation.. Violation Score: 9 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Sliders in meat department display case observed with substantial old food product build up. The sliders are to be cleaned nightly as per your cleaning procedures. Shelving inside meat department walk in cooler observed with food product build up. Floor below the shelving inside the meat dept walk in cooler observed with food spillage build up. Spilled food observed on floor below shelving inside the meat dept walk in freezer Spilled food build up observed on floor below the oven in the deli department. Corrective Action(s): Ensure staff are following the cleaning standard document for Meridian meats. Clean floor and shelving inside the walk in cooler. Clean floor below sheling inside walk in freezer. Violation Score: 15 311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)] Observation: Floor damage observed in front of meat dept walk in freezer. The floor was to be repaired upon next routine inspection as per report on Sept 21, 2022. Corrective Action(s): Provide a date in which the floor will be repaired upon my follow up inspection.
