Introduction

An unannounced Routine Inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance with a focus on health and hygiene practices during the COVID-19 pandemic.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection: At the inspection dated Feb-19-2021, there were 10 children in care with one staff member. At the inspection, no contraventions were identified. No further action is required by Licensing or by the Licensee. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. This report was written off site due to COVID-19 safety practices. The summary items identified in the report were reviewed with the Manager before Licensing's departure. A copy of the report and the corresponding Risk Assessment was emailed to the Manager.
