Observation: Pop gun and holder require regular cleaning and disinfection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to have both washed and disinfected after each shift. Soak in bleach as discussed at the time of the inspection.

302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Iodine sanitizer bottle connected to the bar glasswasher was empty at the beginning of the inspection, but was replaced to a new bottle to achieve the minimum level of iodine (>12.5ppm) for final rinse.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to have all glasses washed through the glasswasher today rewashed through the glasswasher. Ensure to monitor the level of iodine on a regular basis as advised at the time of the inspection. Obtain test strips.

Observation: Rodent droppings were observed from floors of the back storage area.

Fruit flies (<10) were observed at the bar.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to have droppings removed EVERY morning and treat all affected areas using 1000ppm (1:50 bleach:water) chlorine.

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: Oil and grease build-up observed from underneath and sides of cooking equipment in kitchen. Pop gun and holder have sugar encrusted on surface attracting fruit flies.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to have the above cleaned on a daily basis as discussed at the time of the inspection.

Observation: Floors of the back storage area require cleaning. Floors underneath and sides of cooking equipment require cleaning as mentioned under CODE 305.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to have all areas mentioned during the routine inspection cleaned.

Routine inspection conducted:

- Handwash stations (kitchen/bar) adequately supplied with liquid soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water.
- Coolers operating at/below required temperature of 4'C; Freezer operating at required temperature of -18'C.
- 200ppm Quats available in labelled spray bottles and at automated dispenser.
- Low temperature dishwasher achieved minimum level of chlorine (>50ppm) at plate level after final rinse.
- General food storage practice satisfactory throughout.
- Ice machine satisfactory. Scoop stored in proper manner.
- Foods obtained from approved sources.
- Professional pest control company contracted for a biweekly visit. Recent reports checked.
- Upstairs storage satisfactory. Washroom handsinks satisfactory.
