Observation: Observed exposed wood trays that operator claims will be used to shelve samoon (bread).
Corrective Action(s): Seal exposed wood trays to ensure proper sanitiation of food contact surfaces. Do not use to shelve food until it is sealed. All food contact surfaces must be non-porous, easily cleanable material. Corrected by: July 23, 2022.

Routine Inspection conducted today.
Chest freezers measured at -18C. Operator claimed that the 2 chest freezers are to cold-hold frozen vegetable used in Zad Halal Market. Operator claimed previous inspector approved.
Operator claimed that samoon are only produced at this location. Samoon produced on-site is only supplied to Zad Halal Market which will then be retailed sold.

NOTE: Ensure Samoon (bread) are labelled with company name, production location, and date of production. Purchase 2 drain plugs for 3-compartment sink to ensure proper sanitation of kitchen equipment.
