Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A handsink lacked paper towels at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all handsinks are supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels. Restock handsinks immediately once they run out of supplies.

Observation: The shift supervisor and staff lacked FOODSAFE Level 1 / equivalent course training at the time of inspection in the absence of the Manager.
Corrective Action(s): It is a mandatory requirement under Section 10 of the Food Premises Regulation pursuant to the Public Health Act for at least one staff member on shift to maintain valid FOODSAFE Level 1 / equivalent course training in the absence of the Owner/Operator. Ensure at least one staff member on shift maintains valid FOODSAFE Level 1 / equivalent course training in the absence of the Owner/Operator/Manager; Correct immediately.

Information was provided regarding courses that are currently equivalent to FOODSAFE Level 1 and courses which currently are not equivalent to FOODSAFE Level 1.

A follow up inspection will be conducted randomly this week to check for compliance with Section 10 of the Food Premises Regulation again. Failure to comply will result in enforcement action as per Fraser Health's progressive enforcement policy.

Walk-in-cooler (3.5 degrees C) and other coolers were at or below 4 degrees C (40 degrees F).
Walk-in-freezer was at or below -18 degrees C (0 degrees F).
Hot-held food was at or above 60 degrees C (140 degrees F).
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was at least 71 degrees C (81.9 degrees C) at the plate.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in the buckets with wiping cloths.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
