Observation: Front door leading into facility is not tight fitting and is potential entry point for pests.

Corrective Action(s): Have front door (and all doors) assessed either by maintenance staff or Pest Technician to determine if doors require door sweep/skirts. Install door sweeps/skirts to any doors that are not tight fitting to ensure facility is properly pest proofed.

Observation: Bait boxes observed in kitchen in following areas:
- On floor adjacent to pantry cupboard
- On floor under oven, under and behind lower drawer of oven.

Corrective Action(s): Poison is not permitted in food production areas.
Discuss with Pest Control company. No bait/poison in areas where food is produced.
More appropriate traps (i.e. "Tin Cat" or "Snap Traps" or "Glue Boards") should be used. An assessment of the programming of the facility should occur as some traps are not suitable for use when children are present (i.e. snap traps pose an injury hazard and glue boards are extremely sticky). Discuss with Pest Control company which type of trap is best suited for the kitchen area.

- No evidence of pests
- Pest control program in place
- Handsinks adequately supplied
- Coolers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to 4 degrees Celsius
- Freezers achieving temperatures of less than or equal to -18 degrees Celsius
- Three functional sink plugs available for use observed
- Light covers in place
- All containers used to store lids/utensils/etc. in good sanitary condition

NOTE: Facility is rented for use by community groups that are responsible for activities in food production areas. Each group is independent.

NOTE: Facility is equipped with Bleach however no sanitizer solution was made on site at time of inspection. Other disinfectants were available however none stated "FOOD GRADE" specifically. Ensure each group has access to sanitizer solution for food preparation surfaces. Ensure adequate supply of bleach.
