Observation: - High temperature dishwasher is not meeting the
minimum sanitzing temperature. After 4 runs. the
maximum temperature reached was 69.3 degrees C. Final
rinse temperature at the plate level must be 71 degrees C.
-->Corrective action: Service the D/W ASAP. Must be
capable of reaching 71 degrees C upon
final rinse.

- Single use/ disposable dishware and cutlery until
serviced and follow-up takes place.
- All previously washed dishware today must be
sanitized again.

Observation: - Front handsink reset to prep sink is leaking at the
faucet, significantly affecting under the basin.
--> Corrective action: repair faucet so it no longer
leaks.
- Cold water at this sink was previously turned
off to prevent leaking. All handsinks must
be fully supplied with running hot and cold water.

Inspection conducted for change of ownership.

General

- Running hot and cold water available at all other sinks
- Back handwash station and HW station at the far end of
cafe (by ovens) is fully supplied.
- 2 compartment sink present for manual warewashing.
- QUATS available for surface sanitizing.
* Concentration is slightly above 400 ppm. Call Ecolab to recalibrate
to 200- 400 ppm.
- All coolers at 4 degrees C or colder.
- All freezers at - 18 degrees C or colder.
- No hot holding at the time.
* Ensure soups are reheated in the microwave before placing
into hot holding.
- No signs of pests. Contract is in place Terminix.
- Health permit must be posted for customers to see.
- Operator on site has foodsafe level 1 equivalent. --> valid until Feb 2029.

* Ensure all handsinks are accessible. Do not obstruct with waste bins.

Health Approval is granted today. Operator may apply for
business license with City of Burnaby.
