Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ants observed upon entry into dining area from hallway. Staff cleaned up the ants and the area during time of inspection. Pest control company is contracted.
Corrective Action(s): Monitor ants in the dining area and contact pest control to assess if the ant population increases, to assess and apply treatment as necessary. Ensure to clean up all food spills immediately to prevent ants from harbouring indoors.

Observations:
- Walk-in coolers (X2) measured at or below 4'C
- Walk-in freezer measured at -19'C
- All preparation coolers measured at or below 4'C
- No hot-holding during inspection
*NOTE: temperature logs are maintained electronically but are not available for verification during inspection. Staff stated that they will be switching to manually writing the temperature checks moving forward.
- General sanitation of premise is satisfactory
- Hand washing stations are unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- Commercial chemical dishwasher measured at 100 ppm chlorine concentration with test strip
- Lactic acid sanitizer in spray bottles (X2) measured at 272-700/704-1875 ppm DSBA/lactic acid with test strip
- Ice machine and ventilation canopy observed in sanitary condition
- Staff washroom observer in sanitary condition
- Chemicals are stored away from food
- All food observed covered and stored at least 6 inches off the floor
- Raw meats stored away from ready-to-eat foods
- Probe thermometers available on site
