Routine inspection conducted at the food store and the following observations were made: Temperature: - Walk-in freezer was recorded at -19C. - Display stand-up freezer at -20C. - Display chest freezers and overhead freezer compartments between -20C to -25Cor below. Ice build-up was observed in these freezers. Ensure that the freezers are serviced/defrosted to prevent build up of ice. - Temperature logs were maintained and found satisfactory. Sanitation and Hygiene: - Two compartment sink was available on site and was occasionally used. - QUATS spray bottle was present on site. The concentration of QUATS was noted at 200ppm and found satisfactory. - Handwashing station was available and had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels. - Washroom was maintained in sanitary condition. - No evidence of pest noted during inspection. Storage: - Food was stored 6 inches off the floor - All frozen food products were properly organized in the refrigeration units. Note: Sampling is temporarily discontinued due to COVID-19 pandemic.
