Community Care Facilities Licensing [CCFL] received a complaint on December 11, 2023, regarding care and supervision. All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from interviews, CCTV footage and documentation. Licensing confirmed the following: The facility did not report a reportable incident to Licensing as required. A staff used harmful actions while supervising children. Therefore, the following contraventions to the Child Care Licensing Regulations were cited: Section 55(2)(a) – Notification of injury or illness Section 52(1)(c) – Harmful actions not permitted |
