Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff washroom had a bar of hand soap.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must be supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels to facilitate proper handwashing. Bar of soap was removed at the time of inspection and replaced with liquid hand soap.

Observation: Facility has 3 containers of Damascus Farm Akawi Cheese with black caraway seeds which were not labelled properly - no contact information -unsure if product is from an approved source.
Corrective Action(s): All foods must be provided by an approved source to ensure they are safe. Containers of cheese were removed from the sale area until the source of the product could be determined.

Comments

-Walk-in coolers were at 2C and 4C.
-Display cooler was at 4C.
-Customer area cooler was at 3C.
-Drink cooler was at 4C
-Customer area freezer was at -15C.
-Ice cream freezer was at -31C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer spray bottle labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Meat saw and grinder sanitized every 4 hours and disassembled for cleaning and sanitizing at the end of the night.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection.
-Raw meats stored away and below ready-to-eat foods.
-Pest issues have improved significantly. Continue to monitor pest activity and implement control measures as needed.
-Please contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns.
