306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: The food service area and the back area was very cluttered. The shelves had food debris and the floors around equipment/cabinets also had debris build-up.
Corrective Action(s): Re-organize the back area to allow for safe access to the 3 compartment sinks and the stand-up freezer. Do not store office supplies/boxes in the area around the sinks as that can pose as a physical tripping hazard.
The build-up of food debris can encourage pest activity and cause food contamination. Perform a thorough deep clean of the facility, reaching behind equipment and hard to reach areas to ensure sanitation. Date to be corrected by: Friday, February 12, 2021.
