Routine inspection. Premises sells pre-packaged food, re-packaged candy, soft serve ice cream, and coffee (no other hot beverages). Operator advises they are no longer scooping ice cream. Soft serve mix is at 4 C or colder - good. Walk in cooler is at 3 C (check accuracy of your thermometer). Reminder to wash hands before handling food. Liquid soap, paper towels, and hot/cold water area available at the double sink. Two compartment sink is available for cleaning and sanitizing tongs and wiping cloths. Use 1 tsp domestic bleach in 1 litre water to make a 100-200ppm chlorine sanitizing solution. Reviewed cleaning and sanitizing of the soft serve ice cream machine (dairy). Follow instructions from the manufacturer and also follow instructions on the label of the sanitizing cleaner. Reminder that there is a new Order effective today that requires the wearing of masks for those 12 years of age and older when inside of the store. Please post a sign.
