During this inspection, there were 15 children in one classroom with 2 staff present and 11 in the second classroom with 2 staff present. At this inspection the above noted contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee included here. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
The Licensing Officer met with the manager and discussed the following:
· Increased sanitization procedures
· Facility supplies of cleaning products and paper products
· Facility sickness policy
· WorkSafe BC Child Care Protocols for Returning to Operation

The following resources were provided:
· Corona Covid-19 BCCDC
· HealthLink BC Hand Washing
· Dishwashing 3 Sink Method
· Cleaning and Sanitizing Schedule
· Safe and Healthy Diapering
· Universal Precautions
· How to Wash your Hands Like Mom is Watching

An alternative system for daily attendance was introduced to include a daily Covid-19 screening but did not include attendance times. Licensing suggested going back to the previous method of recording daily attendance and adding a yes or no in the comments column if they would like to record their daily screening.

A discussion was had with the Manage regarding Protocols for Returning to Operation. This is a requirement by the Order of the Provincial Health Officer. Documents pertaining to this Order were provided via email May 26, 2020. Protocols developed by Licensee must be posted in the facility or available on the program website.
