Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: No sanitizer solution was available on site. Staff demonstrated the 3-compartment sink dishwashing method and stated that no sanitizing step is being conducted after washing dishes/scoops.
Correction: Ensure that all equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are properly washed and sanitized. Use an approved food grade sanitizer to sanitize the dishes/utensils after washing them. Ensure that staff follows proper 3-compartment sink dishwashing method - wash, rinse & sanitize.

Observation: Handwash station in the repackaging area lacks paper towels.
Correction: Ensure that all handwash stations have adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.

Comments

A follow-up inspection conducted to routine inspection (report #TGIL-C5BR7E) and the following observations were made:

- Hand wash station was stocked with adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
- Scoops used for repackaging were maintained in sanitary condition.
- Repackaging area was clean and well organized.
- Two sanitizer spray bottles were present in repackaging area. The concentration of bleach was noted at 200ppm.

NOTE - Please ensure that all food contact surfaces/utensils/dishes and scoops used for repackaging are washed then sanitized with an approved food grade sanitizer.
