Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach water sanitizer in labeled spray bottle was measured at over 200 ppm chlorine (kitchen area) and at approximately 10 ppm chlorine (front / retail area).
Corrective Action(s): Bleach water sanitizer was re-made and measured at 100 to 200 ppm chlorine. Ensure sanitizer is maintained at concentrations required for effective and safe sanitizing of food contact surfaces. Refer to Fraser Health manual ware washing poster (posted near 3-compartment sink) for additional information.

Routine health inspection conducted.
- Walk-in cooler at 3 degrees C.
- Upright (kitchen) cooler at 1 degree C.
- Display coolers (two) at 1 to 2 degrees C.
- Upright (retail) cooler at 1 degree C.
- Kitchen freezer at -14 degrees C.
- Retail area freezers at -17 to -18 degrees C.
- No hot holding.
- Cooling practices satisfactory. Cooled items in coolers probed were measured at 4 degrees C or less.
- Raw animal products not stored above ready-to-eat foods in coolers.
- Hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels in place for hand washing (front area, kitchen).
- Owner prepared bleach water sanitizer in three compartment sink at time of inspection (100 to 200 ppm chlorine).
- No signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection.
- FOODSAFE requirements met at time of inspection. Certificate valid until Jan 14, 2024.
