Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Vegetable peeler was found to have food debris on the blade.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized after each use to prevent potential cross contamination. Peeler was washed and sanitized at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 dented cans were found in the dry storage area.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure canned foods are inspected upon delivery and dented cans are rejected or removed. The safety of dented canned foods cannot be guaranteed. Canned foods were discarded at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Upright coolers were both at 4C.
-Under counter cooler was at 3C.
-Chest freezer was at -18C.
-Upright freezer was at -17C.
-No hot holding at the time of inspection.
-High temperature dishwasher had a final rinse temperature of 71C on the dish surface (minimum of 71C required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer pail was labelled and tested at 100ppm.
-Food stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until April 9, 2023.
-Please contact the inspector if you have any questions or concerns.
-Operator signature not required at this time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

*Facility currently has a high temperature dishwasher and a 4-compartment sink. Operator plans to replace current dishwasher with a counter top dishwasher and a 2-compartment sink. Facility must have at minimum a commercial dishwasher and 2-compartment sink.

*Music was too loud. Music cannot be louder than normal speaking volume, measured from the seat closest to the music.
