Observation: As per operator, the dishwasher is leaking.

Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: The handsink in the kitchen did not have any soap or paper towels in the dispensers. Access to the sink was blocked as well. The men's washroom handsink did not have any soap.
Correction: As discussed, do NOT block access to the kitchen handsink. All handsinks must be stocked with soap and paper towels at all times.

Code 402 noted on Routine inspection # ANAN-BDVPCM of Jul-08-2019
Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)]
Observation: During the inspection, we did not observe staff washing their hands.
Correction: The kitchen handsink did not have soap or paper towels. None of the staff were seen washing hands. Even if they wanted to, they couldn't due to the lack of soap and paper towels at the handsink. Talk to staff about proper handwashing procedures.
Comments

On Follow-Up:
-The table blocking access to the dishwasher has been relocated.
-Storage room has been cleaned.
-Handsink and washroom sinks are fully equipped.

Outstanding Items:
-Wiping cloths were seen on the counter-tops. Staff are not storing the cloths in a sanitizer solution. As mentioned previously, wiping cloths MUST be stored in a sanitizer solution in between use at all times.
-Contract out a pest control company once a week till the end of August. Keep service reports on-site. Monitor and treat for mice.
-Clear up the space around the handsink in the front service area.
-Fix the dishwasher leak. EMAIL ME THE INVOICE/WORK ORDER WHEN IT'S DONE.

AS DISCUSSED, YOU CANNOT EXPAND YOUR MENU WITHOUT APPROVAL. GENERAL LAYOUT AND SANITATION WILL NEED TO IMPROVE PRIOR TO APPROVAL BEING GIVEN FOR EXPANDING THE MENU.
