Observation: * Opened bags of dry food were found in dry storage room and were not in pest proof containers; reminded staff to keep all opened bags of food in pest proof containers between use
Corrective Action(s): * Ensure opened bags of food kept in pest proof container to reduce risk of pest harbourage

Observation: * Cupboards and counter tops have deteriorated and require upgrade/repair; also, kitchen equipment has expanded into dining areas and not as per approved plans; food contact/prep surfaces are limited and require expansion; have discussed updating/expanding kitchen area to accomodate additional food equipment into the kitchen; this was also discussed previously with director, Michelle, in the fall of 2019
Corrective Action(s): * Replace all deteriorated cupboards/counter tops and expand kitchen to accomodate all food equipment (eg. freezer/coolers, etc); Submit floor plans for review approval

* Coolers were 4'C/40'F or colder
* Freezer units -18'C or colder
* Sanitizer available and set up ready to use during operation; for using bleach use 1 ounce of bleach per gallon water
* Dishwasher final rinse was 74'C/165'F or hotter internally
* Pest control program via Terminix Canada
* Monitoring records were available but require updating for cleaning/maintenance(daily)
* Hand washing sinks had liquid soap and paper towels
* Food was covered
* Note: cupboards/counter tops have deteriorated; floor plan has changed from original approved floor plan and food equipment has been installed in dining area; Submit floor plans for revised floor plan as kitchen has expanded and requires upgrade
* Follow up inspection to be done for renovations; Submit floor plans for review/approval prior to construction/changes
