Comments

Licensing accompanied the staff and children on the walk back to the facility from the away play space.

At this inspection, the above noted contravention was identified. Licensing provided a date for addressing the contravention and is requesting a written response by March 1st advising how the contravention has been addressed or will be addressed.

As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed.

The following was discussed:

· Different ways to keep a record of yearly care plan reviews
· Frequent visual checks during nap time

The information contained in the report was discussed with the Manager and the report and risk assessment were written on-site. Licensing advised that copies of the report and risk assessment would be emailed to the facility.
