Introduction

Contraventions
Previous Inspection -
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation: Inspection of the outdoor play space found that the sand has significantly eroded in the sand play area. It appears that a section of the sand area near the fence has been dug out leaving a space that a small animal could go under. The manager stated that this area gets filled in often near the fence and was filled in during inspection. The sand area no loner has a cover. The sand is spread over a large portion of the play yard.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the facility is clean and in good repair
Date to be Corrected: April 20, 2023
