Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): There was no paper towels inside the paper towel dispenser.
Corrective Action(s): The operator provided paper towels inside the paper towel dispenser. Ensure to have paper towels inside the dispenser at all times.

Observation: The operator still has not started a temperature log.
Corrective Action(s): Start a temperature log for both walk in cooler and freezer immediately. Keep the logs for min three months and make available for review by the health inspector. Template was provided to the operator.

Comments

- Sanitizer compartment of the three compartment sink did not have any dirty equipment. Use this compartment for sanitizing purposes only.
- Handwashing signs were posted at each handwashing station. Ensure that all staff properly wash hands with hot water, soap, and paper towels.
- Boxes of raw meats were stored on wood pallets. Do not store boxes of raw meats directly on the floor.
- Walk in freezer at -18C.
- The mop basin is draining properly and free of any standing water.
- General sanitation still needs improvement.
- Email the Food Safety Plan to the health inspector for review immediately at derek.song@fraserhealth.ca
