Observation:
Ventilation canopy has heavy accumulation of grease and debris. Operator informed that cleaning is scheduled for tomorrow.

Back door screen mesh is not secure as there are big gaps at the bottom and top of the screen.

Repair/replace screen mesh on back door to prevent pest entry. To be corrected by July 21, 2017.

Observation:
Front Coca-Cola cooler temperature measured at 14 degrees Celsius.
Corrective Action(s):
Remove all potentially hazardous foods (ie tartar sauce) from cooler.
Pop and water can remain in cooler for now.
Repair cooler so that temperature is maintained at or below 4 degrees Celsius.
To be corrected by July 10, 2017.

Comments

Routine Inspection:
- Hand washing station fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water.
- Stand up coolers in kitchen and walk-in cooler maintained at or below 4 degrees Celsius.
- Freezers maintained below -18 degrees Celsius.
- Chlorine sanitizer in bucket and spray bottle = 200 ppm.
***Ensure wiping rag is stored in sanitizer solution so cloth continuously gets sanitized.***
- Washroom sanitation satisfactory and hand sink fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water.
- Operator was able to show latest pest control report - all conditions satisfactory.
- No evidence of pest activity at the time of inspection.

***Operator informed that an owner change is underway. Ensure that Fraser Health is contacted for health approval BEFORE owner change occurs. Application package and application form provided to operator at time of inspection.
