Introduction

An unscheduled inspection to determine compliance with the Residential Care Regulation (RCR), Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). This inspection was to follow up on the Action Plan received for the routine inspection.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Routine inspection noted that room referenced as the Reading room was included in the areas for requiring maintenance and repair. Additional information was provided by Leadership that the room is solely for the use of the staff and is not considered part of the common space or used by persons in care. All contraventions from the routine inspection has been addressed and no further action is required. Licensing would like to thank the staff for their assistance during this inspection. For infection prevention measures, this inspection was written offsite and sent via email to the Leadership.
