Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Vegetable cutter was found to have dried food debris on the blade and hand piece.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized after each use. Equipment may need to be soaked to loosen dried food debris. Cutter was washed and sanitized at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cutting board was found to have black mould growth.
Corrective Action(s): Cutting boards with deep cuts which cannot be properly cleaned and sanitized must either be sanded down or discarded. Cutting board was discarded at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Prep cooler (3-door) was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Prep cooler (1-door) was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Upright freezer was at -15C and -12C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Sink plug and bleach available.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer pail was tested at 200ppm.
-Meat slicer was found to be clean and sanitary. Slicer is disassembled for cleaning and sanitizing after each use.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the floor and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until June 04, 2024.
