Comments

- Premises and equipment maintained in sanitary condition
- Handsinks have automatic faucets with warm water; liquid soap and paper towel were available.
- Coolers and freezers were operating at required temperatures (4C or colder, -18C or colder)
- Walk-in cooler 3C
- Fridge/freezer 3C/-18C
- Chest freezer -25C
- Reach in freezer -18C
- High temperature dishwasher was operational and exceeded required temperature to sanitize dishes. Temperature at dish surface measured 76.9C.
- Hot and cold running water present at warewashing sinks
- Quats sanitizer (200ppm) was present in labelled spray bottles for sanitizing food contact surfaces, counters and tables.
- Ice machine appeared clean and maintained. Staff reported ice machine is routinely cleaned, sanitized and filter changed. Ice well is cleaned and sanitized daily.
- Food preparation/service remains limited to frozen items (eg. chicken strips, yam fries, mozza sticks) which are cooked or heated (to internal temp 74C or above) in MerryChef oven with pre-programmed settings.
- No signs of pest infestation noted at time of the inspection. No pest control service in place at this time. Recommend placement of traps (ie. glueboards) for monitoring.
- Staff/public washrooms were maintained and supplied with liquid soap and paper towel
- Foodsafe requirement met at time of the inspection. Manager present and has valid Foodsafe level 1 equivalent certificate
- Health operating permit with valid decal present. Ensure it is visible to the public.
