Observation: Although not severe, observed flies in different areas of the facility. Noted a few flies flying around and landing on different items in the display unit. Multiple traps installed to catch them. Facility already has a contract with a pest management company, last visit on October 10 2023.
Corrective Action(s): Required operator to replace the fly traps to monitor level of fly activity regularly. Required operator to discard all products in the display unit as inspector observed flies landing and walking on different products in the display unit. Staff onsite removed all products on the display unit at the time of inspection. Required owner to provide means to prevent flies from entering the display unit as much as possible.
